On this 17th of November all the riders, staff and sponsors gathered at the headquarters of the club to celebrate the first anniversary of the team. One year have passed since our introduction to this game and a lot of progress has been made since that date. Now we have been in Division 1 for more than 2 seasons and we hope that we will continue to perform well and improve our ranking season after season.
As many of you already know, I am not from England but from Mauritius Island and I was introduced to the game by a friend of mine and he helped me a lot to get started with the game. I would have stopped playing after 2 weeks if he wasn`t always pushing me. Even with help I made several mistakes like most of you surely did by giving wrong training, forget about racebreak, hire too many staff etc… But as soon as I started understanding the game better and I got results on a regular basis and I was totally addicted.
At that time competition was not difficult as it is today, there was only 3 divisions and I quickly got into Division 2. Then as competition was harder I invested on training of M.Cabral who has lead the team for more than 1 season but this was not enough as we were unable to get into Division 1, Then we decided to buy a top class rider and Kurt Swinnen who was bought after long negotiations for his transfer fee. As from then things started to get better for the team and we got into the first division without any problem and even won Perm Tour on our first attempt.
Since then, new riders have been bought by the club and our major acquisition was Dirk who now is the leader of the climbing team which I think is almost complete but as competition is getting harder in climbing we are aiming at setting a good sprinting team which would help us grab precious points to improve our ranking.
I would like to specially thank the managers of CWAY and TEAM CHILLI who helped me a lot with tactics and feature of the game that I did not fully understand.

Nice article too, new players reading this need to be inspired that none of us at the top got their without making mistakes in our first season in particular - keep training, asking questions and trying new strategies and everyone with hard work can challenge for the top 10!
No need to thank me, well done on seeing out a year. I think it will be close for top spot this year.
